Our Doctors

Dr. Chris Johnson, DVM

Dr. Johnson received his undergraduate degree from OU and graduated from veterinary school at OSU. He completed his small animal rotating internship at the San Francisco Veterinary Specialists. He is passionate about point-of-care ultrasound and has spent a considerable amount of time traveling around the country teaching other veterinarians about the topic. He is an active board member in the International Veterinary Point-of-Care Ultrasound Society (IVPOCUS). Chris also loves trauma and emergency soft tissue surgery.

Dr. Suzanne Caruso, DVM

Dr. Suzanne Caruso received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and graduated from Oklahoma State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She has been practicing for more than two decades in small animal medicine in Tulsa. Suzanne is passionate about providing quality medicine and surgical care and loves the challenges she faces every day in this field.

Dr. Brenna Bixler, DVM

Dr. Bixler was raised on a horse ranch and was a competitive equestrian through high school. She received her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology as well as her DVM from Oklahoma State University. Her veterinary interests include diagnostic imaging, soft tissue surgery and client education.

Dr. Rachael Burke, DVM

Dr. Burke completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Central Oklahoma with a dual focus on Biology and Chemistry before obtaining her DVM from Oklahoma State University. While in veterinary school, Rachael studied abroad in South Africa to help with the conservation efforts of the White Rhinoceros. She is currently an officer of the Tulsa County Veterinary Medical Association and helps to bring continuing education to all the veterinarians in our area.

Dr. Jennifer Dyer, DVM

Dr. Dyer attended Oklahoma State University for both her undergraduate and veterinary degree. She has practiced in both Florida and Oklahoma.

Dr. Jackie Evans, DVM

Dr. Evans is the daughter of a veterinarian and worked as a tech for many years before she graduated from Oklahoma State University. She loves internal medicine cases, ultrasound, and surgery.

Dr. Angela Merideth, DVM

Dr. Merideth has always wanted to be a vet and studied Biological Sciences during undergrad and received her DVM from Oklahoma State University. Her interests include internal medicine and soft tissue wound treatment and management.

Dr. Kariss Dunson, DVM

Dr. Dunson has always wanted to be a vet since she was responsible for caring for her childhood dog, Sassy. She received her BA in Biology from East Central University and her DVM from Oklahoma State University. Her veterinary interests include ultrasound and soft tissue surgery.
